Sidesh Rajballi Architects Pty Ltd or SRA Architects was founded in 2016 by Sidesh Rajballi. SRA Architects although located in KwaZulu-Natal, practices nationally. Sidesh is also one of the directors of an international NGO, SABBA whose aim contributes toward social economic change partnering with government to eradicate extreme poverty in south Africa.
SRA Architects has a completed a wide range of building typologies including educational, cultural, commercial, retail, restoration & residential projects – including social housing, apartment living and individual residential residences. Projects completed and pending is either in collaboration with associate architectural firms or individually to ensure bespoke design to client satisfaction. SRA Architects is affiliated and registered with the national regularity architectural body, the South African Council for the Architectural Profession, SACAP and practices under the Act 44, of 2000 for architects in South Africa & SAIA, the South African institute for architecture which is a voluntary regulatory body for architecture in South Africa. In being associated with these closely allied bodies within the profession we attend lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences that keep us up to date with the latest academic and modern design trends within the profession.
Our goal is always to meet our clients particular needs and we have demonstrated our capabilities time and again. We strive to combine an award wining creative approach with technical expertise to devise cost effective, sustainable solutions which often balance the conflicting requirements of the brief, location, budget and planning restrictions, working with tight restraints and sometimes with a historical contexts. The design role extends from the original conception of ideas, through the planning process, to project implementation and architectural or interior management. It is also not unusual for us to work with a wide range of specialist consultants. We have a huge network of contacts – highly experienced experts across a wide a truly diverse range of fields and disciplines. This helps us develop a true multidisciplinary service and achieve the quality results our clients should expect. As architects, we continue the tradition of being the project lead to ensure that no level of design is compromised.
